WHAT TO EXPECT AT ENCOUNTERQUEST:  

 

EncounterQuest is a Cryptid event.

​

 *A Cryptid is a creature whose reported existence is not accepted by mainstream science.

Ex: Bigfoot, Lochness, Mothman, etc.

Friday, April 12th 

• PLASTER CAST CLASS!

  • Come join this year's MC's, Cryptids of the Corn, as they teach us how to properly cast prints! Cast your own footprint then have the SPEAKERS SIGN YOUR CAST at the main event on Saturday! Cost is only $10 per person to help cover the cost of supplies. So much fun and you get to take home a souvenir after Saturday's event!

  • 4pm - 6pm

• MEET & GREET DINNER WITH THE SPEAKERS!

  • Come and eat dinner and hang out with the Speakers and MC's, PLUS, our Honorary Guest => Ron Morehead!!

  • The Taco Factory of Rockingham will be catering a delicious full TACO & NACHO BAR BUFFET complete with beef and shredded chicken! Plus, Kool Kakes Bakery will be catering the amazing dessert cake! Drinks are also included! Cost is $30 per person. 

  • 6pm - 8pm 

• Both Events on Friday will take place at:

  • Rotary Lodge at Hinson Lake, 152 Hinson Lake Rd, Rockingham, NC 28379. ​

Saturday, April 13th

• CRYPTID CRAWL RUN/WALK - Starts at 8am! For details and to sign up, go to https://runsignup.com/Race/NC/Hamlet/CryptidCrawl

• VENDORS: 9am-5pm

  • ​Vendors will be selling one-of-a-kind, unique merchandise, food, and cryptid items all day from 9am-5pm, outside and indoors. It's free to browse the vendors but you will definitely be excited about their products! 

• SPEAKERS: 10am-6pm

  • ​EncounterQuest will have several speakers with combined decades of research from encounters, including their own! Join us as these amazing speakers take us on a journey down the rabbit hole: You wont want to miss this phenomenal group of speakers! We will also be including an "EncounterShare" where attendees will be able to share their own encounter stories and ask the speakers questions. Speakers will start at 10am Saturday and end at around 6pm.

To listen to our Speakers Saturday, or attend the Special Events on Friday evening,  you will need to purchase a ticket for each event.

• Friday tickets must be purchased online in advance.

  • Plaster Cast Class: $10​

  • Meet & Greet Dinner with the Speakers: $30, includes dinner, drinks, dessert and mingling with all of our Speakers! 

• Saturday tickets 

  • General Admission 

    • Online: $20 (disc. price until March 31st)  

    • At the door: $25 

    • Kids 12 and younger: Free

  • Military/Veterans/Law Enforcement/1st Responders & Senior Citizens: $20
